Baynum Painting recently had the privilege to work along with our friends at Ride Entertainment Group to refurbish the awesome new Whirling Wonder Ferris Wheel at Morgan’s Wonderland – the World’s First Ultra Accessible Theme Park. Whirling Wonder is a 5 & 1/2 story high ride, featuring wheel-chair accessible gondolas so all park guests can enjoy! We absolutely love this beautiful park, located in Austin Texas. Be sure to check it out, they’re opening for the 2016 season this weekend!

Thank you Discovery Channel Canada, and everyone who was involved in putting this awesome project together!
Just in time for the park’s exciting 2014 opening, Baynum Painting’s team has completed a repaint of the giant frisbee ride structure known as Delirium at Kings Island. We think the 137′ high ride looks excellent with it’s glossy new coat of color, and can’t wait to ride it along with the freshly painted Bat, Xtreme Skyflyer, and Banshee this weekend!

Six Flags America has an awesome spinning roller coaster coming to their all new Mardi Gras section in 2014 known as Ragin’ Cajun. As we are getting ready to coat the track and ride structure, the roller coaster’s unique spin cars can be seen here getting prepared and painted by Baynum Painting’s team.
Along with the new Zydeco Zinger color scheme, we love the look of this new part of Six Flags America, and can’t wait to visit during the open season!
Found in many of the greatest Amusement Parks around the world, will be a version of Ride Entertainment Group‘s Skycoaster – which is an awesome pendulum swing ride consisting of a huge steel arch, and a pair of lift cable towers. Kings Island in Mason OH has one known as Xtreme Skyflyer, which is currently getting a fresh paint job from Baynum Painting’s crew. While the lower sections are aerial lift accessible, the high arch and top of the cable towers can only be accessed via good old fashioned climbing and rigging. Shown here are some photos of our skilled team in action, preparing the surface, priming with PPG’s Amerlock 2 epoxy, then and applying a shiny new finish coat of Amercoat 450H.
What a fun project, and what a view from the top!
In this great shot taken from up on the arch, you can see the new paint job on The Bat progressing nicely!
