Painting Update – Superman Krypton @SF_Fiestatexas

Painting of the Superman Krypton roller coaster is progressing faster than a speeding bullet in San Antonio at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, where Baynum Painting’s team is hard at work on the ride ahead of the February 2015 park opening.  Using the super-tough combination of PPG’s Amerlock II and PSX 700 Polysiloxane to fully coat the structure, the fun part as always when painting roller coasters is accessing all of the various hills, corkscrew turns, and in this case, a nearly 170′ tall vertical loop.

Between various aerial man-lifts, rigging Spider baskets, and good old fashioned climbing, Baynum Painting’s team has no problem safely and efficiently completing even the toughest assignments.  Enjoy some progress photos below of the ride’s new paint job, and check out Baynum Painting’s homepage for more details on our experience and services.

Painting Silver Bullet at Knott’s Berry Farm

Baynum Painting has been having an extremely busy winter during the typical “off season” in the Amusement Park industry!  We are currently painting roller coasters in California, Texas, and Ohio, and have several upcoming rides to paint in Pennsylvania, Texas, Illinois, Florida, with even more at our favorite parks in Ohio.

One awesome ride we just finished is the 146′ tall B&M coaster Silver Bullet at Knott’s.  Having recoated the ride entirely at night over the course of several weeks in January, the fresh coat of PPG’s PSX-700 looks absolutely incredible.  Check out some in-progress and finished shots of this great ride:
